Brisbane River Ferry Services

Brisbane River City Ferry

It was good to see our beautiful CityCat and little cross-river CityFerries running again from Valentine’s Day. Many of the ferry terminals on the Brisbane River were damaged during the devastating floods in January 2011 and some are still being rebuilt and repaired. For updates visit the Brisbane City Council or Translink.

Currently 15 terminals are open for CityCat services:

  • Apollo Road
  • Bretts Wharf
  • Bulimba
  • Teneriffe
  • Hawthorne
  • New Farm Park
  • Norman Park
  • Mowbray Park
  • Dockside
  • Riverside
  • Eagle Street Pier
  • Thornton Street
  • South Bank 1 and 2
  • South Bank 3
  • Guyatt Park

As for cross-river services, the Holman Street terminal is closed, but CityFerries are running between

  • Norman Park & New Farm Park
  • Bulimba & Teneriffe
  • Thornton Street & Eagle Street Pier
